Acne facials include several products such as chemical peels, masks, exfoliators, and steam treatments to cleanse and disinfect the skin. At J'adore Beauty and Aesthetics, we follow the following steps to perform acne facial.

• Cleanse
Our esthetician will start an acne facial with a deep double cleanse to remove makeup, dirt, oil and bacteria.

• Exfoliate
After cleaning, face reality acne experts use chemical exfoliants to remove dead skin cells that have been piled up to reveal fresh skin. The ingredients in the exfoliants help to address surface level and acne underneath the skin.

• Extractions
Manual extractions are performed to remove whiteheads, blackheads and any pustules.

• Treat
A home care regimen which will be provided at the time of your first acne facial. This regimen is necessary to get clear and to stay clear of acne. If this regimen is not followed, your skin will not be able to make the progress needed. The kind of acne facial needed will vary based on what kind of acne we are treating and the severity and will be decided during the consultation. Exfoliants, manual extractions, and LED lights will most likely always be apart of every facial but it varies on the progress made and what your skin actually needs.

• Moisturize
Aftercare products are applied to nourish, hydrate and protect the skin. acne facials are not suitable for everyone, but if you have acne prone skin, active acne, acne marks, or constant acne breakouts, our experts recommend getting an acne facial. Unlike basic facials, acne facials take a series of treatments which can include coming in once or twice a month for 3 months or more and a consistent home care regimen in order to achieve results.
